Foundation for Rural Services: Community Grant Program
As a member of , Ë¿¹ÏAV can assist your local non-profit organization or business with applying for the Foundation for Rural Service (FRS) Grant Program. As part of its ongoing commitment to rural communities across the country, the FRS provides annual grants for communities served by NTCA members. The goal of this program is to support local efforts to build and sustain a high quality of life in rural America.
Grants range from $250 to $5,000 and provide funds that go back in to rural communities every year. They are concentrated in four major areas:
- Business Development
- Community Development
- Education
- Foundation
What will not be funded:
- Individuals
- Scholarship Programs
- International Organizations
- Lobbying and Political Activities
- Ticketed Events
- Infrastructure/Building Campaigns
- Security Cameras
- Capital Campaigns or Endowments
- Digital Signage
- Event Sponsorships
- Community Food Programs
- Loan Repayments
- Religious-based Activities
- For-Profit Businesses
- Salaries of Employees or Contractors
Ë¿¹ÏAV Community Grant Program
The Ë¿¹ÏAV Communications Grant Program is awarded quarterly to support local efforts to build and sustain a high quality of life in rural Northeast Kansas.
The program supports projects in these categories:
- Business and economic development
- Community development
- Education
- Foundations
If you have a community project that needs funding, we encourage you to apply. We are accepting grant requests up to $5,000.
